Starting with the hull, this vessel has a cored fiberglass stringer system with foam filled box-beam stringers.

The use of gimbaled hull molds allow the hull to rotate providing an even distribution of glass and resin. Each hull is hand laid up providing maximum strength with minimum weight. After the gel coat is installed a layer of vinylester resin barrier coat is applied to provide protection from blistering. Following this there are several layers of polyester resin and fiberglass cloth. Construction of the other fiber glass parts is done in a similar manner but without the vinylester resin.

Interior design provides a very livable interior with lots of storage.

Broker's Comments

The Bayliner 2859 Ciera Classic is one of the more popular models of the Ciera family. For a 28 foot boat having a second sleeping area is unusual and a big "plus". Also having a separate enclosed helm area with inside seating is unique.

The forward sleeping area is part of the main cabin but does have a privacy curtain. The aft berth has its own privacy door.

Complete galley with lots of storage, dinette (which also converts to a double berth) and a large head and shower area that is well-ventilated.

Access to the engine is from a large cockpit hatch and the generator is also accessible through this hatch plus a separate deck hatch.

This is a very comfortable family boat that is also great for fishing. She's very clean, appears in good condition and has low engine and generator hours.
