Broker's Comments
The young German owner of this boat set out on a passage from Bremen to the Caribbean just as the previous owner had done. The vessel was therefore well equipped for a solo return Atlantic voyage and much new equipment was installed for this purpose. However, he has decided that sailing is not for him.
This a shame because the boat is well equipped, the Beta engine is only a couple of years old, the Antal self tailing winches are brand new, the furler and standing rigging are all very recent and the life raft service date is May 2025.
The sails and running rigging appear in excellent condition to me and there is an Aries wind vane with two spare vanes.
There is a comprehensive list of equipment recently bought with the Atlantic crossing in mind. His loss is an opportunity for a new owner to reap the benefit of a boat well-equipped for offshore cruising.
