Built by the South West Durham Steelcraft Ltd shipyard, using 10mm steel for the hull bottom, 6mm for the sides, and 5mm for the superstructure, this Euro Classic is a model specifically fitted out by the owners.

This boat has had a single owner since new.

HAULED OUT IN MAY 2025: The hull and topsides have been repainted and the anodes replaced (epoxy paint).
The boat features a 1000-liters diesel tank, a 1000-liters freshwater tank, and two 250-liters black water tanks.

Two large sliding side doors provide access to the saloon, where you’ll find a central interior helm station, a lounge area with a large table that comfortably seats six (TV with automatic satellite dish), and the galley at the rear of the saloon.

The galley is divided into two sections: a cooking area to port with a four-burner hob, grill oven, fridge, and a second fridge-freezer; to starboard, a sink and dishwasher. Ample storage is available for dishes and kitchen utensils. Please note that all dishes and utensils are included in the sale.

To the rear of the galley is an aft cabin with a 140x200 cm double berth, generous storage space, and an en-suite bathroom with shower, washbasin, and electric WC.

Forward of the saloon are two cabins: one to starboard with two single berths (80x200 cm), and opposite, its own bathroom with shower, washbasin, and electric WC.

Finally, the owner’s cabin (with a King Size Berth) is located at the bow, offering plenty of storage (one cupboard houses the washer-dryer). This cabin also benefits from its own en-suite bathroom with shower, washbasin, and electric WC.

For comfort, hot water is supplied by two electric water heaters (2 x 90 liters) that operate either via the engine while cruising or on 220V when connected to shore power.

A central heating system, powered by electricity or gas (with the boiler located in the owner’s cabin), feeds the radiators.

The boat is air-conditioned: the forward section has a 1600 BTU air-conditioning unit, the saloon a 1800 BTU unit, and the aft cabin a 1600 BTU unit.

Boatshed Bourgogne is pleased to offer this EURO CLASSIC barge for sale in the north of the Burgundy region.

This 2005 EURO CLASSIC barge was built by South West Durham Steelcraft Ltd to the specific requirements of her one and only owners. For the past 21 years, the owners have taken great care of their boat.

The hull was last lifted in May 2025. All exterior and underwater paintwork (epoxy) has been redone, and all 12 anodes were replaced.

The interior is in impeccable condition and offers a very pleasant living space for up to 4 people.
Beautiful light wood finishes and numerous double-glazed portholes provide maximum natural light.

With a draft of 0.70m and an air draft of 2.59m, most canals are accessible.

This boat is also suitable for year-round liveaboard use.

Moored in a charming port at the border of Northern Burgundy and Île-de-France.

The mooring may be transferrable upon approval from the harbourmaster. Annual mooring fees: €1,760 (2025).
